Bailey is here!!

Bailey Cale Patterson was born on Monday, January 11th at 4:03 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20" long. She has a head full of thick black hair and blue eyes. I think she's gonna have my olive skin but it's still hard to tell b/c she was jaundice for her first week or so.

Caden is absolutely in love w/ her. He kisses and rubs her face all day long. A couple things he's said about her - "I love her so much", "She's my girlfriend", "She's so pretty!", "She's my woman", "Don't kiss her! She's my girl!" (fussing at Chism when he kissed Bailey's cheek). The first night we brought Bailey home Caden got super upset when she started crying. She was getting her diaper changed and of course didn't like it and started crying. Caden thought she was hurt or that he'd done something and he started crying huge crocodile tears and was just heartbroken. He's gotten over that now and will tell her to "hush Bailey". lol He's very proud of her and likes to show her off to everyone that comes over. He is such a good, sweet big brother.
