Bailey turned 7 months yesterday. She weighed 19 lbs. 7 oz. and was almost 28" long when they measured her Monday. She's a hefty little momma.
She had an EEG & another appointment w/ her neurologist on Monday. She still has abnormal brainwaves but apparently that's not suprising since she has tubers in her brain. Somehow her genetic test fell through the cracks so they had to draw blood again and we won't get the results back until October. They are testing to see what mutation she has. We will be tested once she gets her results in.
Her last EEG was pretty bad and she screamed the entire time so I was expecting this one to be the same way, but she took it like a champ. She just relaxed like she was at the spa and took her a little nap.
She started her physical therapy this week. She'll go once a week to a physical therapist and she'll also start seeing a "special" therapist once a week also. The special therapist will do a little bit of everything and will come to our house. She does have some developmental delay from having the seizures so the therapy should get her back on track.
Caden is just as hyper as ever. I swear he doesn't stop moving. I wish I had half of his energy. He is VERY protective of his baby sister. I got fussed at the other day when they were taking a bath. I rinsed Bailey's hair and some water got in her eyes, which made her cry. Caden gave me a dirty look and told me that, "She's just a baby! Don't get water in her face, it's scares her!" He then proceeded to hug and pat her and tell her "It's ok, it's ok".
